Removable partials are used for patients who have several consecutive teeth missing and are not candidates for a fixed dental bridge. These partials can be metal or a gum-colored plastic base. The metal partials are of an alloy of cobalt and chromium. They are lightweight and have clasps that attach to the remaining teeth to anchor it in place. Dr. Osman’s process involves taking the impressions that go to the lab and several try ins to make sure the partial fits comfortable on the patient.
